1 Go to ..\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\python\bf2\stats\
2 Make a backup of the "unlocks.py" file
3 Open the "unlocks.py" file in Notepad to edit
4 Use CTRL + F to find the text "defaultunlocks"
5 Change this:defaultunlocks = [ 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 ]
6 To this: defaultunlocks = [ 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1 ]

Save the file. Only use this in Single Player, for if EA finds you trying to use this Multiplayer, you will suffer suit smackdown.

EXACTLY the same thing has happened with me, Im only LC with 1900 points...still happy about my recently unlocked G36C and then I log on today and I hear the award drum noise..so I was like erm yay? And now every single ranked server I go onto all the weapons are unlocked
So is this a bug that can be fixed? I havent been booted from PB or anything yet... I dont want my account to get deleted either. So should I contact EA or PB? and how the hell do you contact them and what can they really do?

That was the trick to get the weapons to unlock for single player in 1.0, they patched this out in 1.03. There was even a way to unlock all the weapons for unranked servers in 1.0, this was also patched out.

Honestly, I am going to be pissed if they decide to fix this "problem" and let those who it affected keep the unlocks and leave those of "US" who it has not happened to have the disadvantage from here on out...

Same thing has happened to me!! I t might be that there is a program that allows you to unlock weapons for single player.I was on this morning and i couldnt unlock then this afternoon bingo i can unlok all without doing anything!!

same thing happened to me i was reading this thread, i signed on my account, looked at bfhq and all my guns were unlocked. i am only private firstclass and didnt play on any server.........

Unless they have a backup of all the accounts before the hack they would have no idea what weapon(s) you unlocked before this happened, so they'll either have to restore the weapon unlock state for each account or set the unlock state back to zero in which case we'll most likely have to repick what weapon(s) we want to unlock.

My bet is they will restore from a backup (just the weapon unlocks not your rank/score) after which be prepaired for an onslaught of "all my weapons are locked"
