    Support Players

An uncountable amount of scenarios I have run out of ammo (be it 203, AT rockets or just main ammo) and i have to chase support people around half the map screaming "I NEED AMMO." This is ridiculous and REALLY annoying.

One i'll never forget. On Sharqi Peninsula, as the USMC, I was launching 203's from the docks, at the bottom, at the incoming boats. After taking out 1 of the boats out (bad day) i needed some ammo, i called for ammo a couple of times, there was no support personel coming towards me on the map. I decided to hunt the colsest one down. I reached the idiot, and stood in front of him and called for ammo a few more times, while crouching and standing to get his attention, with no reply. I typed "[name] yo press 5 and then click" yet still no response. After a few seconds and a few more requests for ammo he decided to start running away towards battle.

I'm not saying all support are like this some will try and resupply you even if you don't need it. But others that just drop it at flags and ignore the radio/map need to sort it out.

I know what you mean man. It's not only with support, same story with medics too. Sometimes I request medic or ammo right infront of the dudes face and he jsut runs away and keeps running.

when i play support i throw them things at anybody that even looks in my direction. cant hit a damn thing w/ the gun so its the only way to get points.

it's not all about hitting things with that gun its about suppresive fire so ur team mates or squad can move forward while the enemies head is down. Then your team mates cover you so you can move forward. Works really well if used like that, i find anyway.

the saw is a pretty accurate weapon when prone.

I just prone and spray an area so my squad can get into an advantaged position over an enemy squad.

And like glasseye said, I just throw those things at people who look at me haha. Either that or at places where a group of teamates are standing.

When ever I play support I always get muppets that run in front of me when I am putting support fire down. Of course I get a penalty because I am not forgiven by the twit who run in front, to make matters worse they seem to come from directly behind you so you have no warning and cant stop in time.

Just remenber about medics and support, if ur pinned down by armor or a whole bunch of guys im not risking my life to get you ammor or medical treatment, next time dont fron in the middle of a battlefield withh a million people just hide around a corner, then even if you are exposed the medic/support helping you wont

It's another common noob-player problem. If they are directly infront of me and do not respond, I take out my pistol and fire a couple rounds at their legs.

IF they would fix the support weapons then I would play one full time. The SAW is just plain rediculous even in 1-3 shot bursts it accuracy when prone is non-exsistant. Untill they fix the support weapons i dont think we will see a fair amount of support personell.

If you'd played BF:V maybe you'd realise why the support guys are they way they are. I think they're fine how they are, if they were 'fixed' to be more accurate I think they'd be too powerful. I played support for more than 30 hrs in game and still manage a 2+ ratio.

i completely agree with you. too many times have i ran out of ammo and some support moron ignores my calls. so then i have to either bother the commander just for my needs or run and find a new gun; which when found are usually out of ammo. so then i have to get up, reloading, in the open and try to kill some guy. i swear, if supports did their jobs i would have a much better rank.

yeah, I was completly out of everything the other day pistol, frags and L-85 ammo. So I go up to an ammoboy and asked for ammo he looks at me pulls out his ammo bag for 1/2 a second and then swaps it back to his rifle and types "haha" and runs away. I'd have shot him if I had ammo, so I went around with my shockers and got a kill then someone else killed me.....

yeah, i agree with the other guys... the only real way i hope of getting points as support is either with vehicle kills or throwing the bags around... sometimes someone doesn't even have to be there, i've littered the ground with ammo bags before in hopes of getting an ammo giving point
