    P4 2.4GHZ
    1GB ram- 2 x 256mb Nanya, 1x 512mb Geil value
    9800 pro 128mb

    Either-

    - My graphics card is overheating
    -My graphics card is fried
-My PSU is not powerful enough.

Ok heres what my problem is, in BF2 i get artifacts (see screenshots)

EDIT- The last one does not look like that in game

My 9800 pro is apparently UNDERCLOCKED

    check here- http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=NDgzLDI=

    So why is it overheating????

Now, here is the inside of my comp, I have a MESH.

    Please note the cable arrangement-

    And finally my PSU

    Thanks

EDIT- I HAVE LATEST DRIVERS! 5.7 catalyst

    HI

My expereince with the graphic issues and an ATI card have been similar.

Bad graphic corruption, so bad that after several minutes in game textures were turning black, gun sights "zoomed" would just be a large black square, heli baldes were just black squares, white flashing, lock ups, et.

What seems to have solved it to this pont has been an added gig of RAM.
Getting no corruption or lock ups. SMooth game play all high settings, 2x AA and 1280X res.

OH, try the 5.6 Cats. For some reason they are "better."

i have the 9800pro 128mb aswell, but ive never seen those errors..

only thing ive seen is: when i look at sandbags it looks like they are liquid or something.. this only happens sometimes tho..

and when i look at an enemy with a tank\apc far away, they dissepear.. dont know if this is a gfx error tho, cus ive read about alot of ppl who have the same prob..

Could be a virus or spyware thats corrupting your video card.I had that problem with my X800 i reformatted and everything is fine now. Seeing as your power supply is only 220 you could try upgrading. Or try reformatting and see if that helps.

Looks like a corrupt bf2 install to me.

Test mobo, psu and gfx seperatly.

I'd say the problem is that you aint plugged ya graphics card in. but ona more serious thing, I only get artifacts in one game and thats NFSU2 no matter what drivers I use..

                Go here: www.techpowerup.com/atitool/downloads.php
and download this program named AtiTool. It has the option of checking the video boards temperature. Read the documentation and you should be go to go...
