This is not a Bug report, this is a client support issue, or at least it would be if there weren't already a nice FAQ which covers this very topic. Take a look around the forums, you will be amazed what you find there.
For your issue, I will retype it, so you don't get all frantic and say nobody helps me.
Join a server, play for a few minutes, you should get the rank message in game. When you do, you can finish the round, or disconnect, then jogout of BFHQ and log back in again, then you should be able to get your rank. The points are there don't sweat it.
