yea, but they screwed that up. It can't be run on a server. Something about it not being able to run as a service becuase a splash screen or some crap.

What are you talking about? The daemon version that was released works perfectly on a dedicated server. I currently have it running as a service.

where can i find EA's list of rules for ranked servers?

1. also im using bf2cc, do i have to edit the map list by rcon commands, or can i use the bf2cc gui interface? (I also can change the files by ftp).

2. why the hell isnt there a way to switch to a specific map?

Make sure the Ranked Server Settings are as follows.

Friendly Fire settings need to all be at 100%
sv.password = empty string (don't set password)
sv.numPlayersNeededToStart = (6 for maxPlayers 16, 10 for 32, 10 for 64)
sv.spawnTime 15
sv.manDownTime 15
sv.ticketRatio 100
sv.teamRatioPercent 100
