Black Ops Clan=NO FUN

I was on black ops clan's server. I got in as commander. And did my ****. No im soooo sry to all you whinners but i do not sit on my ass in the main base. I go and do **** like the rest of the ppl. But I also am constantly scanning the battlefield and using my resouces (just like I should). Well as soon as black ops clan saw me in a heli (just going to parachute and i can command while in a heli anyway) they went off and banned me.

If you are commander in black ops clan server dont move to any flags they will ban you too. No questions asked just start commander or get booted; 5 seconds later im out. I just wanted to let others know.

While I disagree with banning someone for these reasons, I can see why they'd be annoyed. Commanders are supposed to concentrate on...well, commanding. They shouldn't be running around on foot or controlling vehicles. If you want to do that, don't be the commander.

Stalingraduate is right. A majority of the time, if you're the commander and you're fighting with the rest, they'll think you're not doing your job, some will even think you're just in the commander position just to get doubled points if your teams wins.

Bottom line, as much as that was wrong of them banning you, you have to assure everyone that you're doing your job, so you have to stay back.

Good, you can't properly command when you're doing other stuff, especially fliying a chopper.

you're going to be a half assed pilot and half assed commander when doing that, so I agree with them kicking you

I knew i would get these kinda responses from others. It just seems that is how the majority of ppl think. Well i dont like to sit back in a nice air conditioned hut. I like to do it like commander cowboy. So i guess socially im wrong but was it work a bann? I think not.

good for them in my opinion.....i see no reason to b commanding in a chopper while another dedicated pilot could b taking flags and killing enemies to help ur team win

not a ban, but worth a kick, because there is just no way, even the greatest player that can command at best and do other stuff.

Commanding isn't just about dropping some explosives on someones head and UAV some random area. Anyways, if you go out and do stuff as commander, u die and you cant commander for a few seconds.

When you are commander, you gotta constantly be in commander mode, looking for enemies, telling your soldiers were there are high concentrations. Drop random supply crates to areas were they are most needed. Ask if people need supply crates. To know were they are needed you constantly have to watch and view the battles. You have to know how to strategically place a good UAV for your soldiers or strike some artillary. You have to micromanage when commander!

You really should try it out for yourself, I guarentee you'll do better.

also true, that is why I said. It's not good to be a commander in a chopper because you are being half assed pilot and commander

that's how i feel. The commander shouldn't be on the frontlines. Because when they are, they may not be doing their duty.

I thought in this recent patch you don't get points for kills anyways as commander. You can only receive commander points...so it's POINTLESS to go out and join the middle of the fight.

EDIT: And by kills, I mean kills by guns/C4 etc...not arty.
