Account Login Delay - And small other problems

Guys,

Any help with this would be great - When logging into my account I find that it takes up to 5 - 10 minutes to login. My mate - who operates off the same link as me - takes 10 - 20 seconds. So I presume it has something to do with my setup of BF2

I have also noticed that when it does load up I am connecting straight into a server. I know there must be a setting somewhere that removes this - I presume this is what is causing the delay in logging in as it is probably doing a server refresh the same time as finalising the login.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

You're hitting the "Play BF2 Now" link, you want the plain old "Battlefield 2" link instead. Also ingame the "Play Now" button in the bottom right does the same thing.
