im really not sure what it is anymore.i just run everything at low and it looks like ****.thats the only way i can play.its pretty f.uc.king lame but whatever.EA sucks.and i heard that one of you said they had an alienware 7700.if it has a radeon in it thats why.BF2 has problems wiht the nvidia mobile cards.which is pathetic.i think im just going to send it back.replace it with some more RAM and get a new video card.Alienware didnt screw me.EA did when they prereleased this game which should've been thought ahead.

Did you know all AW laptops are made by Sager? They buy Sager laptops and put their logos and paint on them and sell them for $1000.00 or more.

u don't know me, i was browsing google about alienware 7700 overheating
i own one of them and i don't think its fair for u guys to diss them.
they are outsdanding laptops that ive taken to cal and cpl parties and grabed major attention.
btw, they AREN"T alienware laptops. they are CLEVO laptops
the same used by VOODOO pc's which are stripped down and rebranded as AW and VOODOO computers. don't believe me? check www.clevo.com and look at their pc.
anyways do'nt' bother replying to me i probably won't check this forum again.

note: to gain extra cooling on your laptop. remove the keyboard *4 tiny latches on top side of the keyboard and flip it towards you. that will expose the internal parts *you can do this AW doesn't void your warantee unlike everyother PC manufacturer out ther* which is why i went with AW ... u can update/open/upgrade/stip and warantee is intanct*
after flipping your keyboard down a metal sheet will be in front of you with 5 black screws holding it down* u can remove them and the metal sheet and that will let more air into your system through the holes int he keyboard.
just put it back when ur thiking of taking your LT with you and make sure to keep it clean as that sheet is to prevent dust from accumulating.

I bought a HP laptop from bestbuy but window crashed only after 10days i purchased. They gave me the credit back which i'm not willing to spend it on buying computer ever from there. but you can't customize laptops!!
I'm not comparing HP to AW but laptops ain't good for games ( the world knows it) but i did enjoy playing BF2 on that crappy lappy on all medium setting. lol
If you have a problem with bf2, you gonna have similar BS in the future with newer games require more performance.
dude, your laptop must have cost at least 3 grand or so, why did you go for AW desktop? or customize to the maximum. you would have gotten top of the line if not FX57.
If i were you, i would not bother playing bf2 ( you shouldve bought nice IBM for other than gaming purposes )
i wish you luck, i really hope you could fix the problem that you have.
