I am currently running
3.2 athlon, radeon 9600 256mb pro, 512mb ram
I had BF2 running fine for a good 4 weeks since the release, and it has also runned fine with all the patches that have been released.
However, it has now been formatted, and when I open, both the patched version of BF2 or the standard version, i get a black screen for a few seconds, and then it goes to a plain blue screen. This BSOD, its un quitable, and forces me to do a hard restart.
I have tried the following:
+ Downloading latest windows update
+ Reinstalling graphics card
+ Reinstalling the game and patch (done this 3 times)
Please help!
