Rank Icons?

Is there somewhere we can see what all of the rank icons look like? I'm curious to see how the large ranks are going to be stuffed into the little icons..

(I'm talking about the "rank icon" that shows up next to your name in-game and on the scoreboard)

Personaly I think there should be more, look at them on this site and think how long the game has been out and how many people are already sergeants, after that everyone will be the same rank for ages because of the enormas point gap between getting promoted, whats the point in having ranks if everyone in the server is the same rank?

i did some calculations. the top person, exp.elektric is at about 45000. he'll probably get to staff sargent in 5 days which is the 27/28. so it takes about one month for the really good ppl to earn 50000 pts. highest rank is 250,000 so itll take only 5 months, prolly more if u play consistently, a little too fast IMO

Somehow he was already a Gunnery Sargent, it seems though that he doesn't play online anymore. When I pressed 'tab' his rank icon looked crammed into that little box, it didn't seem to fit well at all.

I can tell you now that this guy hax, take a look at his time playing and his rank . EA found out and banned him, thats why he don't play no more.

That is what I'm saying, its Bull$**t. The ranks in my opinion should go as far as the ones on my CnC Renegade clans website, it would be SO much better for the long run.

With that the game could be played for years to come without a worry about topping the ranks and having nowhere to go exept other people catching up and promotions could happen more often to help the players moral on actually playing.

Heh, that Gunnery Sargent icon looks really akward, I can't imagine what Sargent Major will look like..

BF2S.com has a leaderboard on the front page with the icons, so they must have all the icons stored somewhere, anyone have a complete set of the rank icons?

Look at number 13, does that mean that there is a rank going to be a rank higher than Sergeant Major of the Corps? That bar is a Second Lieutenant if I'm not mistaken.

The reason I said this is because I though the highest rank was at 250,000 points, and it was going to be Sergeant Major of the Corps... :hmm:

Don't you guys notice that Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps is 2,500,000 points? That will take forever. I am glad that EA did the rank system the rigth way, not the way your clan did. How dumb is that, go through all of the enlisted ranks to become an officer. Enlisted and Officer ranks are seperate, with the exception of Warrant Officers and Limited Duty Officers, enlistr\ed do not get promoted to officer. Oh, and Warrant Officers only fly in the army, not the Marines. Though I am wondering about the First Sergeant/Master Sergeant and Sergeant Major/Master Gunnery Sergeant ranks. At Gunny do you choose which path to take, i.e. leadership for First Sergeant or Technical for Master Sergeant? Do they mean anything in the game?

250,000 points for Master Gunnery Sergeant

Sergeant Major of the Corps is the person with the highest score that is already Sergeant Major.

Oops. I thought it was different. Only one person can have it at one time, and I thought it was just the person that had the highest score that also had Sergeant Major. My bad.

So EA is only gonna let one person have it at a time, that makes since.
