It says that Accessory items are not included with refurbed products, and all i will get is the item itself. Does this mean that all i will get is the card, and none of the cables/cd's that i would need to run it? If so, where would i be able to purchase the cables and cd's that i would need?
Basically, you'll only receive the card. Frankly that's all you really need. If you happen to need the cables, any computer store will sell you them. The only thing you probably might need is the adapter, DVI > VGA or vice versa depending on the card or your monitor.

Oh, because there are 3 plugs, and i figured i needed a cable for each of them. I have a standard CRT monitor, do you think id need anything else?
you shouldnt need anything else. The CD has a driver on it, if im not mistaken, but obviously drivers are updated and you can easily download one. The only cord that goes to the video card (on my setup at least) is the one thats attatched to the monitor and plugs and screws into the port on the video card. Think it has a blue end.
depending on what type of monitor connection you need, you may already have a converter/cable to use, or you may need to go to RadioShack or somewhere and get one. Pretty simple.
As for drivers, you never install from the CD they give you with them, most likely, the drivers are outdated and it's just as easy to download them and install from those.
Better to do that beforehand.
Most of the time, refurbished products are just as good as brand new. I once had a refurb Sony 4x CD-RW drive. Used it 2 years and never had a problem with it. Gave it to a friend and he used it another year before he got a new PC.
I got a bad refurb card from Newegg last year and had to return it. No restocking fee because they didn't have one to replace it with.
I would only count on getting the card in a static bag. You may be lucky and get the accessories, but don't count on it. If you just have a standard CRT monitor, you'll probably need to source a DVI->VGA adapter. Looks like Newegg sells those for around $5...
New Dilemna: I recently found out that you can buy a 6800nu, and easily OC it to close to GT specs, But after reading so many horror stories about the 6800GT not running BF2, i'm not sure if i want to take the risk of OC'ing the 6800nu, or just playing it safe with the 6600GT. Input?

I have a 6800GT Running @ 400/1100 (easy OC you could reach for sure) and have a pretty old system and it runs 1280 x 1024 4xAA/16xAF Highest settings and 100% viewdistance and it runs 35-60 FPS and it is smooth.

Yeah, i know that there are lots of people who are running the game perfectly with the 6800GT, but at the same time, i hear lots of people saying how they get really poor performance with it.
Give me a link to back that up, I've never seen that
I was planning on buying a XFX 6800GT but now that you say that I'm little leary.
You can just search these forums, and you'll find quite a few horror stories about the 6800GT running BF2 at poor framerates, despite a high-end system. Thats how i became aware of the problem. I've doing some research on the x800pro, people seem to have less problems with those.
Well in all honest, I would get the 6800GT. Why? #1 the frame rates will be much better, all you have to do is wait, either Nvidia, or EA will release an update that will cure this problem. The 1.03 update will have tons of fixes that will supposedly make the game run 100% better.
