Are there any servers that boot lone wolves?

Too much came up on search function to sift through it.

I want a server that encourages squads/squad play. For the most part lone wolves are less effective and would be better replaced by another assault/medic/support/whatever in a squad. I think snipers are entitled to go it alone more, and even spec ops to an extent, but I find that servers solid with squads give a more rewarding game.

Are there any servers that fit this bill?

I think tacticalgamers has a rule that all players must be in a squad, or be the commander.

Maybe there are other servers. Good luck in your search, always nice to hear from other team oriented players.

We are still around and still enforce the use of squads.

Ever tried to be in a squad when you're spec ops? Understand about when assault etc are being lone's but spec ops is better suited as lone due to their job description....that is, if you play as you should.....:)

Can't tell you how many times I enter a server, end up on the loosing team, then proceed to lonewolf kick-ass, place first on the server, and my team wins.

I guess its clear that you are simply wrong about being "effective".

There are people that play like a lone wolf and people that play like teamplayers. True there are alot of people that should be in squads because they could do better and help there team out more but then there are other people who don't quite fit that profile.

Some people just aren't compatible with squads. I've fought in a squad but they either end up hindering me or all out getting me killed. I'm not saying squads are useless but like the poster above some people just don't fit in squads and can do a heck of alot better (for themselves and for the team) without being in one.

Class doesn't matter. A lone wolf should be able to pick the proper loadout for the proper situation which isn't always sneaking around blowing things up.

A good lone wolf takes up the slack between the orders and the lack there of.

Agreed. especially true when you are specops, your team has few armored vehicles and oppenent have plenty of them. You just can't jihad jeep them if ppl spawn next to you in a jeep full of C4.... you just can't sneak into a base without drawing artillery attention to yourself if you are a squad.
And I think (I almost never play) usually snipers should be lone wolfs too...
Even spawned on a sniper SL only to immediately die from his claymore? Embarassing way to die and give negative points to your teammates...

Dont forget a lot of new players to the game like I know I was feel somewhat intimidated about joining a squad straight off due to lack of experience in on line squad protocol and become a lone wolf hoping a squad will invite them to join

Exactly. I played for a good while till i felt like i could assist a squad before joining one. I do play in squads when assault, support, eng but not if i'm spec ops.....unless i have another spec ops who'll join my squad. I usually create a SPEC OPS squad in a hope that fellow ops will join and blow enemy traps with me....:)
