The 1.03 patch due out at the end of August (god hopefully sooner!) has over 140 fixes/improvements. This means there will be alot of altered code and new code that has to be installed and the such. I'm betting this patch will be up around 100mb in size (.exe form, non-zipped).

Along with that, I'm gonna step out on a limb and say they will reset the stats, as there is gonna be a new points system implimented (somewhat) and also an stat anti-whoring system.

While I agree that alot of people will be pissed, it needs to be done, or the honest player, will never catch up. I personally don't care if my stats are wipped out if it means we have a fairer playing field...or shall I say, battlefield?

i go both ways on that, i would like them to fix all the stat problems, BUT THEY BETTER NOT WHIPE THE STATS or i may just quit playing the game, because i have played lots getting my rank up.

well its not that im better than everyone. its the time i commited to this game. ive played the game for about 100+ hours already and to suddenly see that wasted...well....its a heartbreaker. now if that does happen then ill cry and write an emo song about it *sniff*

if they wipe the stats, i am not playing the game anymore. i dont think they will because they will alienate the 95% of people playing who play rank only and who dont cheat. and all the people who stop playing the game, EA could say goodbye to a ton of people who would buy the expansion pack = less $ in their pockets. i dont think they will do this. there is no need to. any one who plays on stats and has at least 5000 points will care. maybe if you have less you wont, but most people will

Well then when other games reset stats, no one goes up in-arms. I think it should be done, just my opinion though.
