Falling out of chopper

ok here's the story:

me and a friend hop in a chopper.. I drive and he is the gunner. we fly over an enemy base, and he takes out a enemy moving tank with that laser guided missile thing. I comment it by saying "nice" and next thing I know, Im plunging towards the earth.. the reality (and the ground) hit me too fast and I pressed 9 too late.. same thing happened loads of times, writing something on the chopper that ended with "E" and I fell out.

I dint change any of my default controls, so is this a annoying bug or something else?

Although I dont use the normal key array... isn't "e" the default enter/exit vehicle key?

Pretty lame if it still is operative when ur typing though. Must be ANOTHER glitch.

Go to ur heli controls and change it to some random key you never press.

Yes it is the default eject. And yes it is a glitch. And I believe eject is found under the generals called "Enter/Exit vehicle"

I do it all the time, most of the time I'm quick enough to get my parachute out though. And it isn't active, its only if you end your sentence with an "e" that it will shoot you out (or so it seems to me).

it's done it to me, even if i didn't end the sentence with E.

yeah.... one time I just wrote "heh" and im getting a solid dose of fresh air.

EDIT: theres another thing that also bothers me alot. u know the server box where u type in the name of the server? if u type wrong the server list goes empty.. thats ok, but theres no way to get the web server list back.. leaving the field blank dont work.

I was chattting on Xfire while in the multiplayer section. when I pressed enter in Xfire, I also pressed enter in the search server box, so I had to restart battlefield. this was annoying, bacause at the time it took me a loong time to log into my account. (my friend had the same prob... took a looong dame time to log in)
