i would like to have them for the maps in which u can see it all with the naked eye b/c like in kubra dam once a tank gets too far away from u it totally vanishes and with binocs u could still see the tank and follow its movements or spot it
I think it would still vanish, binoculors or not, because of the lod settings for the model, once it gets so far away, it's gone. They'd have to add another lod setting for nocs, if it's anything like bf42/bfv.

you could have a sniper and either a medic or support with him, the medic or support could use binocs and spot people for the sniper, and then the medic could reheal the sniper or the support could resupply him. could make a good little team. if you spot an enemy and then have a sniper kill him you should get a kill assist.

Funny thing is, Binocs are listed as a 'feature' on the back of the box, AND most kits have the little Binocular icon, yet there is none in the game.

That would be a good addition.

In BF:V I always used the binoculars to spot for myself when playing sniper. The wider field of view gave a sniper a better idea of what was out there to help spot other snipers more quickly. I agree that it would have been nice to include them and I don't think it would bring up any real gameplay issues unless they didn't want to give people a better view of the battlefield.

I'd like to see Binoculars with a Rangefinder, to effectively see exactly how far away an object or location is, good for spotting for snipers and guys who use grenade launchers properly (Area damage at 50+ meters).

At least it'll be more efficent than making my own squad, then using "Attack this position" to make a HUD icon show how far away something is.

I cant think of any army that dosent use binoculars except EA's and about the box saying they are included,i also have a PCgamer mag with an ad that says BF2 has hovercrafts.I have yet to see them.

Those "binocular icons" as you call them are actually the body armor icon. =o

Spec-Ops already have enough going for them, they dont need anything else. Otherwise everyone would be the stupid class. :|:

If they do include them in a patch, they should be giving to all the classes at least.
