I saw a post on another site where someone said that you get 75 points for a Gold Medal, 50 for a Silver Medal and 25 for a Bronze Medal. Is there any truth to this?

No you have to score high every round that game. -
gold for being top overall player in that round
silver for being second
bronze for being thirdComment

that would be pretty funny, if everyone who got 25 points got a bronze, then if nobody got 75, there just wouldn't be a Gold medal that round.Comment

You should be able to Cash your Medals in for Global Points. Otherwise you'll never get some of the higher ranks.Comment

i think you are all misunderstanding his question.
hes not saying 75 points = gold.. hes saying if you happen to get so many points that you do get a gold it gives you an additional 75 point reward.Comment

Yes, I need to clarify. If you get the highest score for that round, say 64 points, and you get the gold medal. Do you get 75 points toward your promotion in addition the 64 you got for your score? Do medals give you additional points for promotion?Comment

no, i don't think you get any bonus points...otherwise those with like 18 golds, 17 silvers, and 15 bronzes would be more than just lance cpls at this pointComment

I wish it worked like that. Even if it was a gold was an extra 50 silver 25 and bronze 10 it would be well worth it. I have over 120 gold stars and that would be 6000 extra points. A lot? Yes. On the large rank scale? No.Comment
