its my screen's native res, so i keep it up there. id rather have the game more gpu intensive than cpu anyways. plus after i exit out of the game theres no 1-2 seconds of my desktop being HUGE and pushing all my AIM windows around and etc.

I play in 1600x1200, and to have AA enabled or not doesn't make that much of a difference, I hardly can see the difference, and especially not notiable when action is going on. Difference between 6x and 2x even more so.

A good rule of thumb for me is if my favorite game can run in 1600x1200 it is time to get a new PC.

@gmoney, i have a inspirion 9300 laptop with a 17" screen. if u want a nice 21" lcd, dell has crazy coupons on those. i know i post alot about dell deals but if u want low prices, go dell. they sell so many units a day, its better to sell a million units at a low price than a couple thousand at a premium.

i just went to turn it on im startin up bf2 now ill let u know if i see any difference from 4x ingame.

ok the main menu is blurry, like all the font. wonder why?

i started up a single player game and played for like 2 seconds and i crashed to desktop. the game felt more laggy but didnt really notice any difference from application controlled 4x.

I might be experiencing a problem with BF2, but I find it hard to believe that anyone can cope on this game with anything less than 6xAA, I run on 1024x768 with most settings on high (and 6xAA) and everything STILL looks really jagged. It's almost enough to put me off the game altogether when coupled with the awful server selection process, does anyone know of a quick solution to this problem? I've got the latest (5.7) drivers for my X800 pro.

Sorry to post this here, I'm not asking for a long drawn-out explanation, just if anyone knows of a solution or can direct me to one then please let me know! :)
