Wiping the Stats; A fresh beginning, An honest beginning.

I'm a Corporal (see below), and sadly, I have played this game basicly non-stop since it came out. I haven't had a job since I've started and plan on going to school next month for computer science engineering. So I moved back home w/ my mother, I'm 23 btw, and have been playing as much as I can until I start up my education.

If they were to wipe my stats, I would end up quitting the game. It's not that we don't enjoy the game for what it is, but people like me DO care about stats. I myself am VERY competitive, and although my deaths are higher than my kills (being a medic too much :P ), I have still worked very hard to achieve my rewards.

Erase the padders, it's not hard work to do.

I know for a fact i would stop playing the game, so would my gf... She has worked her butt off to get her points and this is the first FPS game she has played, aside the Tribes Series, and i have played hard to get my stats to where they are without cheating, i play for fun but i like getting the lil rewards to stroke my geekish ego. So resetting the stats would just plain suck... There is surely a way to calculate who the cheaters are, i mean the stats must be logged... check for 200 revives to one person in a team or something and then whipe that persons stats, but not everyones. Altho they can feel free to reset my TK cause im stick of morons who run into mines/claymores because they dont listen or pay attention to whats going on in the game.

Damn right, I'm not working my way to 25,000 and above again. If they reset them they have to lower the GS requirements for each rank or it's bye-bye.

Yes it is a game... but its a game with a ranking and stats system. Why should honest players loose out because of cheaters? We shouldn't. I know i dont wanna have to get my 5000 points again from scratch to be able to unlock a weapon.

Do what Blizzard does. Wipe the ladder, but let everyone keep personal stats.

I to have worked alot of Hours for the rank of lance Corpral my deaths are Higher then my kills but I am sniper that does reak havoc on the field if I don't hit I atleast make then hesitate so my team mates can kill them I have about 1100 points as well And I WOULD definately walk away from the game,if they reset all the stas on Purpose. I have earned 90 % of my kills as the sniper and I will continue playing that class because I do enjoy it and the game who cares if I die alot oh well... relaxes me and I get a good laugh when I fire from atop a crane or Building and see them duck only to be laying directly in my cross hairs.

no way, i dont wanna be held back because of a bunch of hackers, im proud of my rank and would not like a roll back, if we do for some reason get one, that would be it, i would go back to CS:S .

no it would cause more problems that it could solve....

do not wipe, instead look at points per hour/per minute and eliminate the exploiters that way and/or look at kill streaks anyone with a KS over 15 with a knife is suspect....

Meh, it's not that big of a deal to me that people cheated. I really don't want to have to earn my unlocks again.
