    next upgrade???

im trying to think of something to make it faster not like a raptor or something small like that is there anything i could do to get some leaps in proformance?? im trying to think but cant realy think of anything? i heard a new mouse gives you 10 fps!!

A new mouse will not give you more fps, anyone who says so is on crack.

If you want a boost in performance, the cheapest and easiest way is to get more memory.

you should put an NV5 Artic Cool fan on your GPU. I did on my 6800GT and am running it under load at 68 deg. at 430/1400

Im sure it can do more but im more at ease with these setting and its completly stable. It only cost like 50$

wow thats freakin insane clocks man but 68 is kinda high dont you think? the card isnt slowing down or anything? i mean those clocks are outragous! thast awsome though looks like its worth the upgrade and im going to get some artic silver 5 that should lower my temps actualy i might just do water cooling on both my cpu and gpu get those clocks blazing fast im getting to the edge on what i can do with my cpu heatwise, mine under full load is at 55c and my gpu only gets to like 57c under load idk good advixce though.

yeah...I was amazed at how high I got them because you have to test it before the card will accept it. I was gonna be perfectly happy with it at ultra speeds but it just kept working. I let it run on singleplayer for a while to make sure it was ok and it was perfect.....granted I know im gonna wear out the card a bit faster but I upgrade every year or so anyways. I HIGHLY recommend the NV coolers...they make them for all models of Nvidia cards.

Edit: Damn...I remember when I first got the card and had the stock cooling it was doing like 86 deg under load  that was a scary period.

The biggest performance gain for no cost is Just run the OS-periphal dlls and the Game. All the other crap is what saps you system. Buy a Walmart box for you pron and illeagal downloads

Or to take advantage of big boy RAM use XP64-Bit OS.
