Awards and Ranks requirements too much? Help change it!

You know youve got a problem when none of your gamers can get all the awards in your game. To get the last rank, General, you must aqurie 250,000 points!!! WTF is up with that? Are you gonna get that many points any time soon, uh yeah like next decade. It gets worse for awards. Points you get through skill, the better you are the more points. Some uber amazing gamers can get that without "that" much effort. With the awards you need hours. How many you ask? Try thousands. That just isnt right. You must go to http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/BF2petition and sign the petition! Hopefully we can get EA to down these numbers so we can actually get the awards and ranks. Be sure to tell your friends and spread the knowledge!

nah i like that way i can laught at all the people i have for having no lives, and then when i get it i can feel proud of getting it :) i dont want to have the awards quickly removes some replay value

theres enough badges ranks ribbons and awards to not lower the required points and such

just deal with it they make it hard for a reason

I agree, and at least u will be able to see who is a good player and who isnt(well at least who has played the most).
On the other hand maybe there should be more ranks like "officer ranks"(Second Lieutenant to General of the Army)

I say no, it keeps you working towards something, and when people do start reaching this number they feel superior and special like they are the best at that game and they are superior, I say let them have that feeling because they deserve it for putting in ll those hours. Where as if itis lowered, then maybe a quarter of the community will reach general and the people who do put in all those hours and put in all that time have nothing to show for it.

I say keep the General rank as it is but adding in new ranks along the way isnt such a bad idea, but lowering it just so you can have the final rank is a little selfish.

yea i wonder why EA only used enlisted ranks for this game
u'd expect commanders and such to be at least officers

but then again, its just a game...
