Driver assist or something?

I got 3 player and 1 support point when I got into the pilots seat of a BH last night. I can't remember exactly what it said, but I switched out when another guy jumped in 'cause I can't fly for @#%t, and I got rewarded for it. Just wondering if anyone's seen this.

Something about when support/medic give supplies to crewmembers I think. Were you either of these classes?

Spec Ops. I haven't tried it again though. I got in, spun up the rotors and then switched cause I didn't want to take a chance of TKing. The other guy took over and away we went. It was Kubra Dam.

He must have been playing medic/support then. Or he got a kill while you were flying.

Driver assists come from your crew members killing the enemy, they get a kill and the other crew members get a driver assist...

It happened exactly as I stated and damned if I have any idea as to why. No enemy in sight. We both had just spawned back at the heli pad. It wasn't a kill assist, it said something different but I'm too damn stupid to remember now. I've seen and gotten driver kill assists and support points, but this was different. I'll try to do it again tonight. Oh yeah, we hadn't taken off either. I started to but when he jumped in the gunner seat I switched to another seat and he took over the flying.

Kill assist is different, that is when you have injured an enemy and then someone else (anyone else) finished them off...

If you where flying at you sure none of your crew where firing the weapons??

I spawned, jumped in the black hawk, started spinning up the rotors. My teammate spawns and jumps in. We hadn't even come close to leaving the pad yet. I press F3 and move to another seat. He jumps in the drivers seat and as soon as we leave the ground I get these points. I hit Tab and check the score and sure enough 3 and 1. I couldn't believe it. It had to be a fluke. It was a wierd message. Kinda long winded. I want to say it said something about training or learning but I'm not positive. I wish I took a screenshot but I was caught off gaurd.

Hey I had it happen again last night in an APC. It's "Driver Ability Assist". I've never seen that one before. Kinda had me baffled as I didn't really do anything.
