That is the Advanced Dirty Look Ampilifying Oscillator.
The ADLAO is simple in its usage:
You aim it at your enemy, zoom in, activate, and *scowl*.
Its main thrust is to hurt the targets feelings. The enemy then starts to feel really really bad, and loses his will to fight. He may even take to moaning to his squadmates, thus demoralizing the whole squad. The squad then starts losing HP and tickets, and may bow out completely to go on Jerry Springer and cry about the issue, much to the audiences delight, and a mock fist fight will break out.
It is a devastating weapon. I unlocked it the other day. *scowl*
