Engineers and Shotgun Tactics.

In kubra dam as MEC , mine the exit where the seals come from with there Tanks and apc's in the beginning, and make sure to capture the outpost below the bridge . after that take a car and drive via the other side to the seals spawn and move around between the houses near the anti aircraft of the usmc team . this is good for at least 10 kills before they figure out whats going on.

check out the sweet spot near the city entrance outpost in sharqi peninsula. mine around the sand bags on the outside , and lie down against the sandbags, this is good for at least six kills and some good flag defend points.
Its not easy being an engineer, lets help each other out with some tips.

Ya, the shotguns spread about 100X faster then they should... play DCR to figure out how much shotguns actually spread in real life, you can hit stuff pretty far away, pretty accurately. (compared to how they are currently, where after 30 feet you can't hit anything)

My technique is to rush them and as soon as I get close I push Z a few times while shooting. It's funny watching someone try to hit you as your shotgun blasts them. :)

I don't get to use mines much. After being kicked from numerous servers a dozen times due to new players not understanding what a mine is, I stopped using them.

i'd love the shotgun so much more if they were slugs instead of buckshot... or if you could pick...

and i'd love mines so much more if they had an FF indicator on them... its not too out of the box

Shotgun is good for tight CQB maps like Karkand it's real deadly at close range but I rarely use the engineer class anyway due to teammates that run over your mines and then punish you for it.

The way i use mines is i go on a kamikazi rush- run in front of a tank or humvee and plat the mines right in front of it whiles its driving. Of course, though the price is your life.

The Shotgun is awsome when some one tries to knife you, you blow him to bloody bits.
