If anyone thinks that there are no hacks, you are just a moron. every fps game out there will have hacks. its just the way it is.

if you think punkbuster will detect every hack out there, again, you are a moron. why do you think they have to keep updating it? people will always find a way to hack or continuously find a way to beat punkbuster. i wouldn't play on a server without PB because it will prevent the dumb people who try to hack, but in no way is it going to stop every hacker.

I played Soldier of Fortune 2 for a long time. It had PB with it. We were still catching people on our server with aimbot and wallhacks about 6 months ago before i quit playing it. that game has been out for several years now.

now i know not everyone you think might be hacking is hacking, but it does happen and they are out there.

to the person who only ever saw 1 hacker his whole time playing - wow, you just got lucky - or you just never realized they were hacking.

I agree with Brian...
As of late, there have been some rather "hmm..." moments on my frequented servers. Before there weren't many "incidents" like people being able to "snipe" you as they turn around.
Its not a lag kill either...I know the difference.
Not to mention seeing the "red teamplayer name" issue much more frequently...

Right again, straywolf. I'm a pretty good player but something happened today that was a bit out of the ordinary. I was in Sak on the EA New York server when this one player would jump, spin, prone in mid air and hit me with the one shot headshot while he was 30 meters + away from me using the M16A2 and I was unloading on him from behind. In fact, it happened 3 times consecutivley. I know there are some good players out there but that was more than a little suspicious.

I can see someone being able to do this is without cheating in any way. Most people could not pull this off.

I am more upset when I get a headshot on someone with my M95 from about 30m away but it doesnt even hurt them.. then they put one round in my head with a m16 and kill me .. Yah .. that seems right! There is no way I missed my shot (it even shows a "dust" hit on their head) .. but somehow they are still alive??

i think that with the game being out for a month or so now people have started to figure out how to spawn camp basically. they know where people spawn (eg the alley on karkand at the south flag) and just sit outside shooting people as they spawn. some maps i will spawn (at different flags) maybe 10 or 11 times and die instantly before i even move 1 inch, which is a bit lame.

a whole bunch of other people live exclusively in vehicles and never play as infantry eg certain plane whores/tank whores. Then there's the blackhawk maps...

Ehh Well this is probably ranking but...
On a ranked server I had to use a full round of my assult wep--im like a private and thats 30 bullets and everything but finally at the end of the round the guy died...

And I mean I get barely any points because I die alot compared to the other guys who all have ranks but me and a few others...

yeah that game has come down to who has the best hacks playing in a nova server few days ago and 17/30 ppl was cheating it was unbelive able and there was even a sysop in there banning glitchers yet no cheaters was banned lmao

I'm terrible at playing this game but have lots of fun. I also know that when I hit someone point-blank with my weapon repeatedly and they don't drop something's afoot. Punkbuster is not all-encompassing nor perfect and is only good to a point. I also know that lag can effect some things but not all in-game. Are there hacks out there? Sure there are- nothing is fool-proof.

The opposite has been happening to me, but today I was stuck on some terrible teams. That frustrates me most because I play to win all the time.

i get that...ended up getting kicked of the EA DE server due to my insulting of germans cause i was so pissed off with my crap squad. all hanging around one spawnpoint, and not getting any support.

dragon valley and i'm the only one on my whole 32 player team with a tank for ****s sake..
