what if i just want to float around to record people doing certain things...? the damn battlerecorder seems way to complicated so i'm wondering if i can just spectate a match?

BF Recorder complicated? lol, could it be any simpler? You just load up the demo from community section and do whatever you want in it..
Anyhow.. You can sort of spectate if you join a server that has freecam enabled. I find it puzzling that BFV had spectator mode and then BF2 comes out and it doesn't. That seems like a step backwards to me. And considering it took them a patch to code in a server IP in the scoreboard.. -
