Rank...a few questions

Hey guys,
I had a couple of questions about how bf2 rank/stats works. First off, at the moment i'm a lance corporal. Like most of you it didn't take long to get this rank. Now however i find my rank status bar going up a lot slower toward the rank of Corporal. Does the bar increase at a slower rate the higher your rank is? Also, when do the stats from a game get saved to your bf2 profile? Meaning, if i play two maps and kick some ass but decide to stop playing in the middle of a game, will my stats that i earned in that game not be saved? What about if i'm on my third map and quit playing, will my stats from the previous two maps not be recorded? Thanks guys..... :|:

I've lost three ribbons to stats not saving the the last two days, but usually stats (atleast for me) are updated right when I disconnect from a server. The stat updates should happen pretty quickly. If they don't update in a few hours then you probably lost them. I also find that some servers update stats quicker than others, these servers are among the fastest I've found:

"War is Hell"
Any Trinity Gaming server
Any Art of War server

As far as I've seen the EA servers are among the slowest.
