After loading in the game im stuck

It just happened today...I have no clue why ...I mean there was no new patch d/l...I have no idea why it would happen.

Every time I join a game and get to the point where you have to select a kit at the beginning but I can't move my mouse at all. And I'm not locked up because I hear action going on and see planes flying and people running around. My mouse just stays there...and then when I press escape nothing happens and I stay.

Any help would be appretiated.

EDIT: Does the same for single player also

If you're using an onboard sound, use the software rendering.

Also, EA messed up the support for OpenAL, there is supposedly a fix (which didn't work for me) that you can try if you're using a Creative board.

I use software rendering, and my sound is fine. Once I can switch it to hardware though, I'm sure it will free up system resources, which will be nice.

Basically, just turn your sound settings down.

If that doesn't work, re-install your video drivers.

King I'm a little confused...no offense but sound board? What does that have to do with it? Again no offense

Also, I re-installed the game and same thing is still happening...my mouse won't move so I can't click on anything.

You have to go into Options -> Controls and load the Default settings for keyboard and mouse. They probably got deleted or similar, it happened to others too.
