No Class Is Under/Over Powered in the Hands of Skilled Individuals

There are many posts that complain about certain classes being over or under powered. After playing for about a month now, it should be clear that all classes are equal and the game is well balanced. A skilled player who favors a particular class can be devastating.

Everyone thinks they should be able to pick up a weapon and aim perfectly with it the first time. The way the guns spread out their shots I think is the best part of the game. It makes it hard to kill people at first. It is not easy in real life to shoot moving targets with weapons. It takes skill and patience. BF2 has a good learning curve. I have only been playing the Battlefield Series for two months now, and I have improved dramatically.

When I first started playing the Demo for BF2, I would loose every close quarter combat encounter. I was disappointed with all of the guns accuracy, but over time, my aim has improved. You have to learn the unique feel of each gun.

Thanks to advice from many of you in the forum, I have been much more successful at close quarter combat. Every class in the game can be devastating in the hands of a skilled player. Every vehicle in the game can be devastating in the hands of a skilled player. With teamwork, and skills, you can be devastating.

That's the spirit man. I'm with you. I keep reading these posts that this sucks, that sucks, but even when they say that, that certain thing sucks and I myself or anyone else is dominating with it, well then the person who says it sucks, sucks himself.

Word. Gimme any gun and I'll kill with it. They're all cool with me, you just have to learn to use em.

Yeah, peoples post shouldn't be saying "this class is suxor", they should be saying, "I'm a noob and I suxor with this class"

Yeah...I'm going to agree. I've been going anti-tank now, and I realized, I've owned with that pea-shooter of a weapon when they come in close. You just have to practice. and bam....it helps keep the armor at bay.

I used to never play assault, but in the past few days I've found it to be my favourite class in the game. It's so good!

You know I keep thinking if people are so worried about Realism and class powers. and balance, that if EA made the game more real people would just whine more... Then people would say why can I pilot the AH-1W as a private...

                        Anyone know the answer?
Anyways, theres a point between realism and games, and this game does a damn fine job of keeping it borderline. Id still love to "disable" people and not kill them, theres something about leg shots and making people crawl to flags rather then run.

Well that`s obvious, each class was designed in balance and it`s up to the player to offset it...

No, looking to see if anyone can Answer to the why a Private can not Pilot the AH-1W Cobra if it was complete realism.

First correct answer gets a Thumbs up. Hah.

I'll have to disagree with you for 2 reasons. Engineers get only 5 mines which are more likely to kill friendlies than enemys and supports main weapon does not do it's job. (lay down suppressing fire and keep enemy heads down) There are other much smaller issues but I think those 2 classes are usually at teh bottom of the score list at the end of the match. But if you don't measure how well a class does by score then I suppose everything is balanced.
