2. I have HT, y does my game crash?
-U need to disable ur Hyper Threading in ur BIOS.

- delete ur cache. My comp>my documents>battlefield2>mods>cache. delete the folders(in the cache) and do this everytime before u enter the game(should be a long name wit a bunch of #s and letters). also delete the stuff inside the logo cache.
4. i have a catalyst 5.7, y does my game crash?
- U need to roll back to 5.6 or 5.5. -5.7 has problems wit bf2.

- u need to UNINSTALL the OLD drivers FIRST, before u install the new ones.

- put ur audio settings to hardware, then software. which one is the best? also update ur sound card. uninstall the old drivers before u install the new drivers.

-If your USB headset becomes unplugged during play sound may not be
restored when you reconnect it. If this occurs you must restart Battlefield 2 with the USB headset connected.

- first of all, u need to set up an account tht says offline. then u can play w/o the internet.
19. how can i run in a 1280x1024 window for bf2?
- "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2 Demo\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1280 +szy 1024 <<< put tht in ur shortcut command. (right click ur bf2 shortcut icon and copy and paste it over the command line. and yes copy the quotes too.

- press ur console button>> ~ then type this: renderer.drawfps 1 then to turn it off, replace the 1 to a 0
21. i just installed new stuff on my comp so i can run bf2 or improve it. it looks the friggin same.
- u must unistall the game then reinstall so tht the game may recognize it.

- u need to defrag ur comp and do a disk clean up. then check if u have spyware wit adware or something. i personally have adware and works like a charm. very fast too.(depends how much stuff u got on ur comp.)

- u need to go to my comp> right click ur drive(C: drive,D:, E:, etc.) then click properties> go to tools and click defrag. once done. click disk clean up. it will tell u tht u will have to restart ur comp in order to do it. click okay. then restart. will take a while.
24. i have windows 2000. will it run?
-in MANY cases, many people r able to run bf2 wit windows 2000. little say it does not work. so it is a 70/30 chance.
25. i do skip the intro?
just press the great "Esc Button" located left of F1 and right above "~". keep ur hands, feet, head, and legs in while the ride takes u through. ty.
26. i have an alienware, meets all the requirements, y wont it run?
- look here: AlienWare PC's with Marvell Yukon Network Adaptor
If you are using a Marvell Yukon network adaptor you may get the error
message 'Could not find socket'. To work around this issue disable the
card and use the nForce card that came with your AlienWare PC.

-There is an issue, that occurs on DELL
8400 Systems; when the onboard SoundMAX audio is enabled and there is
a Sound Blaster Live 24-bit sound card (Model 0401) installed.
A work-around for this issue is to disable the SoundMAX audio in your
