Yeah balck screen...

FIRST of all! i have been searching for an answer but i dident find one, so.
i patched my game but when i start the game it gives me the black screen but if i press any key it jumps to the desktop and the bf2 ius gone. Also if i press ALT + TAB i can see that bf2 gave me an ERROR but i cant see it becouse of the balck screen? please help im no noob !

Update! i found out that the error says something like ''(1.1 2484:10 sid: 240) ? what the hell does this mean?

Uninstall the reinstall. There is a corrupt file.

on the cd-rom? and hows this done?

When you installed you probably had programs running and it couldn't install the file. Just redo it.
