Lag, didnt have it on monday, had it since Tuesday

I have having extreme lag problems, on monday I had no lag and achieved corporal rank, unlocked my weapon and stopped playing. Tuesday I had lots of lag and have doen since.

I have around 2mps connection, 1GB of ram, Radeon 9800 (no sure if its pro or not),3 GHz processor. I play on the same servers and no one else had serious lag, so it wasnt the server. I had scanned my computer for spyware etc and it still lags a lot. My ping jumps up and down but I get lag whatever it is. Any ideas why, or how to solve it?

Update your drivers, scan your computer for any usless files, clean your registry, defrag drives, update punkbuster and check for spyware/malware, etc.
