Repairing for points needs to be reworked. Right now you need to repair 100 (vehicle hitpoints) for 1 point. They should make it when you repair a percentage of a vehicle, you get a point. Maybe this would increase the number of people using the Engineer kit. Right now, it's much easier to heal and resupply for support points.
Ex. Right now, it seems you need to fix almost 80-85% of a helo to get 1 point. They should make it if you fix 50% of a helo, you get 1 point.
I'm not sure you need anyone to be in a vehicle to get repair points. I've repaired my pwn tank and gotten points. Mind you, it was a lot of repairing (see helo repairing). Repairing buggies and hummers right now are useless for points. You'll need to repair A LOT of 'em just for a single point.
Tip for repairing commander buildings: Use a vehicle.
If you drive up with a vehicle, it will repair the building automatically (but it'll still smoke). It's better then repairing on foot. You'll need to expire a whole wrench just to get the building back up (and still smoke).Comment

My brother and I play together in an attack copter whenever there is one, both of us as engineer. If the heli is damaged and we're far from the heli pad, an emergency landing and repair happen often. We usually get 5-10 points a round just for repairing the heli.
Also, hovering over commander equipment for a few seconds will fix it right up, =)

Just get in the anti-air at the uss excess and od one of two things.
1. take potshots at enemy aircraft nd they will come attack you. After they finish hop out and go repair the anti-air. every tme you do this you get a repair point.
2. Blow up all the vehicles at the carrier and your team will get pissed and shoot at got in the anti-air. when the planes respawn they will get in and leave. No repair itComment
