I'm using the only account I ever created. At first my stats were growing and I had been awarded medals (which I still have) however now when I play my points stay the same, and even if I earn a medal and it s awarded during gameplay.... when I log-in to check my awards it only shows the original ones I had earned since before this problem started, not the ones it says I earned in gameplay

I'm no nOOb to troubleshooting but for some reason, I am getting 0 stats or rankings at all. I am playing with a new login name after deleting my initial one [was 3rdCrow, now -=3rd ID=- Crow], I had to delete my original game name because you can only use one name per e-mail.

Well. for 2 weeks my cummulative stats are zero after playing for Hours !!!! on ranked servers. Yesterday, I deleted my 'new' tag and went back to the old one which had some stats up unitl 7/11/05. I played on ranked servers last night and this morning and won nothing and got no add. stats, still showing 7/11 as my last battle.

So for one, do your stats update immediately or is it periodical [every night @ 1 AM or whatever.]

I am also not seeing other players ranks when i look at them in game which I remember happening early on. I am also not gaining any medals, etc.. while playing which seemed to gradually go away.

In lots of searching, I am finding no similar posts with this problem.

My particulars would be;
XP pro w/ firewall on
Anti-Vir virus program

nothing else that might block data.

Is there something I unchecked or need to check [not sure what auto-ready means but I've played with it checked and un-checked.]

Would appreciate any ideas.

I have the exact same problem. I created a name in the demo that i then used to start, but after deleting it and going to my current name "L.E.M.ming_v2.0" my stats have never recorded after a few days playing, and also i notice in my BFHQ section it just has a dash for Enlistment date and well as last time played...

Exactly....... I'm gonna try a full unintsall and re-install and see what happens although I doubt that would effect my login via EA. I also haven't done either of the patches yet.

Do you/ have you done either patch?

Well I have the newest patch 1.02 but and I have that bf2tracker setup but It doesnt seem to work... It says that I'm online whenever I stop playing and check but my stats and such are all blank

There were alotta posts about it on their site saying to wait alot but... ehh

Well, you should wait, it can take up to 1/2 a day for them to show up. Also there seems to be an issue with some servers reporting stats (or not reporting them rather).

I'm thinking EA is re-doing the tracking system, rather then via in-game name, they will do e-mail address, or CD-Key.

The same issue happened to me a few days ago and finally today the stats I am earning are actually being recorded. I never got the ones I earned a few days ago though. I agree though with Kingofkhaos though about some servers not reporting stats.

Well, again I am at zero for weeks playing on a ton of different servers. I haven't re-installed yet but this morning I disabled my XP firewall and played on a few ranked servers. I was able to see other's ranks which hadn;t been happening and I finally/ suddenly earned medals again; basic this and basic that like from the early days of playing....so maybe this is progress.

After a few hours, no stats showing yet but I am curious to see later after giving enough time to load ?

Form the onset, it seemed to me as more of a data sharing problem (firewall) versus server side issues [some have problems some have not.]

I checked my firewall settings and they showed BF2 as enable [twice ? , demo and game?]

Is there another program that needs net access to report/ share data?

Well I did a few full reinstalls adding the 1.02 patch as well. I play on ranked servers and earn medals but nothing but nothing is sticking [medals, points, stats]!!!!! after days so the wait suggestion is not the one here.

[PS - Before the re-install, I would play and get no awards at all.]

Total score zero and last time played is July 11th.

Have tried both login names and played with and without firewall on. Even said yes to installing gamespy although I don't use it and already had it.

I'm dead in the water on this one and it sucks because I'm likely the highest scorer in my clan and my stats/ unlocks and ability to win a command application are zero.

Any ideas ??????

Light replies to this topic but thought I'd post something I found on a UK website that mmight be the reason;



There does appear to be one other side effect that concerns a players online stats. Basically I found my old gamespy accounts do not log the stats, 2 weeks on the scores and medals from my first games online have still not been recorded. EA said it can take 4 hours, so you can see my problem was not the problem they where speaking about.

I eventually fixed it by making a new Gamespy account. The moment I did this the stats for all the new games I joined started to appear in my BFHQ window correctly. The problem appears to effect old gamespy accounts the most. Though there are always exceptions. My accounts are well over 5 years old which may make a difference.
