This statement is so dimly thought out. If they are not meant for battle, why put them in the game? They are not meant to be front of the line fighters, but they are not supposed to be inferior either. Just like a medic, engineers have their role in the game, but sometimes you will be in the field due to having no vehicle available. Now what? Sit in the corner?

Personally, I love seeing an engineer coming at me with their shotgun. I just say to myself, bye bye....because he is going to die.

The shotgun does need more distance with a lower damage spread for the range, but still be able to hit their target for some effect.

I DO NOT use the engineer kit, but do understand where this guy is coming from with regards to how the weapon damages a player.

For a shotgun try the DAO 12 im not joking its so poor it takes two shots point blanc to kill someone i just wish it was as powerfull as the regular shotgun :-( i worked realy har for my second unlock and i got that crap.
