so, Im getting my first unlock in 100points. I've played assault almost 90% of my bf2 time up to this point. the past two days I've played as a medic. I like both. I've tried all the other kits of course. but I cant for the love of god decide what to unlock!
everyone seems to say either l8 or the g36c. so I feel you'll be restricted to two kits if there is only two guns that are good that u can unlock. I wana play medic but if l8 sucks then it's a waste :/
and if l8 sucks in close combat it's even worse cuz both the m16 and the ak's are ok.
and I would try all of them out but I have yet to find a way to test all the unlocks in sp in 1.02Comment

I love my PKM. Yesterday, I shot a sniper ion the head from 150m. He got really P.O.'d.
I've tried the L85 (After taking out a medic) and was dissapointed. Y'all say it's so great, but it sucks...Comment

You need to get into a certain gameplay mode with the l85. You have to sneak around. Its a long range killer, and more equivalent to a semi auto sniper rifle than others. First off, theres no real reason to go in single shot mode, just pop off single shots in auto. that way if you get caught you can lay down burst fire without fumbling for the 3 key :P
I was doing terrible with the l85 because I had been playing the other weapons and was playing it like it was an ak47, its not. Stop, wait, and shoot your target in the face =P Its a long range killer, so use it like that. Its got fast refire and accuracy, the idea is to suprise the target and kill him before he can get out of the way. Its fine in closer combat if you use burst fire of maybe 2-4 shots and keep it scoped on the guys chest/gut.
The more I play, I kinda am thinking specops is largely redundant. Yeah, tossing c4 like grenades and getting 10 kills at once is nice, but beyond that, im much more of a firearms type of fellow. I *love* support for racking up massive kills and I believe support is even more of a point-whore than medic. You can throw a bag at a guys feet each time he throws a grenade and get points each time :P
In karkland rushing support up hte hil has kept marines at bay for a LONG time because you can take out soo many people before reloading. Also I think the key is to not get stuck into any one kit. I constantly loot whatever kits I find/kill and switch a tonComment

i love the l8 thats all i use. snipers cant stand againtst this. iv sniper them before they did me. if you know how to use this gun it rocks.Comment
