go to the desk top short cut for BF2 and click properties
click the short cut tap on the top and you will see the target that should read something like this "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1
change the 1 after the full screen to 0 and this will run the game in windows mode.
if you can run it sucsessfuly in windows mode the is no prob lem with your drivers its a bad instalation
