I got my basic a veteran command badge at Fushe Pass and Strike at Karkand. It's pretty easy. All you have to do is find a nice spot to hide(preferably in a transport because no one ever uses those to get to the front lines and you can get your transport badge at the same time) and just make sure that your stuff is always being used. As soon as something recharges deploy it right away.
