Mine is a lesser beast, but still does the job on 1024x768 all settings high.

I know there are numerous threads about this. Most of it is probably just EA's BF2 coding, but I am frustrated that after buying a $300 video card I cannot run the game on high settings without lag. Even when disabling the dynamic shadows/dynamic light.

My current specs:
3ghz P4, 1gb ram, 520w PSU, 6800GT.

I am looking to build a new AMD computer as you may look at those specs in the following thread: (Going to overclock it of course)

I want to ask that if you can run Battlefield 2 on all high settings in atleast 1024x768,
WITH NO STUTTERS on almost allof servers you play on.
Please post your specs below. I am also curious to see who is running the game better even with the bad coding, nvidia/ati, or AMD/Intel.

it would be very dumb on your part to upgrade from a 6800gt to a x850xt...total waste of money...you should go for a 7800gt or 7800gtx at the least.

I have Lighting, Dynamic Lighting, Dynamic Lightning and Texture Filtering on Medium. The rest is on High with 4x AA. Occasioanl stutter at the beggining of the map. Other than that, runs very smooth.

It's funny that everybody who says they can run everything on high doesn't play on a full 64 player server. Of course many can run it all on high at 16 to 32 players. You should have posted the ones who CAN play EVERYTHING on high (not mostly, almost, except, etc) including full AA in a FULL 64 player server.
