I think there is a bug, I have met the global requirements for nearly all the ribbons and some badges and still I have not been awarded by the game. A good place to check your stats and awards is http://www.bf2player.com/index.php

because there are many in one round requirments, like for the pistol it is 7 pistol kill in one round , and for the veteran pistol you need 100 pistol kills globel and then 7 kill in one round again .

99% of the requirements listed un UBAR or bf2player are 100% correct, just some people don't get it very good or don't read the whole thing

Yes places like bf2.com are correct, maybe u lost count of the kills u did etc.
