ATI 9800 Radeon Pro 256Mb, in game it's set at Medium with 1024 screen. I constantly get bad grahical issues after 20mins or so, or computer quitting to desktop, or restarting itself and then sending reports explains no answer from ATI as to the issue found, or my computer freezes completely, screens loses signal, and my 5.1 speekers surrounding my make a high pitched I hate you screaching noise til I forcefully press hold the off switch. And usually when I log back off, go into a server all is normal again. If my controls aren't blank and I can't do anything til I'm kicked by PB for idling.

BF2 has too many problems. Not sure if I can be bothered

what soundcard are you using. same thing happened to me when i was trying to run hardware acceleration using an unsupported soundcard (audigy 2nx). if i were you, i'd try using software acceleration and see if it makes a diff.

My card spec is in my sig so wont bother repeating it.

But using Omega drivers ver.6.3, with AA & AF on full.
Did have adaptive AA turned on but turned it off again after having issues with another game my son has been playing.
Apart from that no probs here.

Average FPS in game is about 50 - 70.
Temp is about 56 degrees C after a couple of hours play, which is bloody good.
Everything set to high and max resolution on my 17" Acer widescreen

Creative 5.1 speakers, with supported Creative 5.1 software. With options on the main to convert to other inputs. It works brilliantly to be honest, but I'll look into it. Cheers man

P.s. 3x crashes in 30mins. Having a break from trying. Ran perfectly last night for about 4hours. Tonight, open bf2, open server, loading map to "Collisions" it freezes and I have to turn off computer. Loading again (After restart and all that), cuts to desktop on "Geometries". Load again... And it freezes 10mins into the game.
I updated my catalyst driver 6.2 to 6.4 lastnight. No probs happened thereafter til now. again. great. Any help?

Specs. 64bit processor, Gig of Ram, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 256Mb gfx card, and three fans on full.
