          Need Help With The Battlefield 2

          man i just buy battlefield 2 and i got the same problem. and i check everything that this cd needs and is all good..to me this **** sucks can any1 help me?? THE GAME COMES OUT THEM IT CLOSES..

              Jesus....some of those answers....

              FreakinSyco is right, you may need to install DX9 and then the demo afterwards.

              What graphics card does he have? It may not be good enough.

              Please don't install any patches.

                He's got the 256 6800, so thats good. Update nvidia drivers to the latest.

                  I agree. DX errors would lead me to believe to reinstall DirectX and/or the video drivers.

                  You can always run the diagnostics: (Start-Run --> dxdiag - Press Enter) You can see if the video shows any issues there.

                  Can you run any other games?

                  I also agree that most monitors won't support 85hz, so drop it to the 60hz option (you can tell in your video properties if the monitor supports that refresh rate)

                    Same here with the agreement!
                    I think its either a DX9 problem or refresh rate is set a bit too high perhaps.

                    Have you tried windows update for a DX update ?
                    My version is DX9c if that helps

                      Is your pc shared ?

                      Reinstall DX 9 would be the best solution.
