I would like to say that there is a change in the commander scoring system after 1.02 and I think it is for good. Now the commander recieve ONLY commander and kill points. No team score and no cups for capturing flags. So this is the end of the so called "field commanders"(players running around as medics, assaults, etc useing the artillery for private interest and the double score option). Besides this is going to clarify the situation about the "basic command badge". Because now you are recieving command points only(1 if your team capture, defend or neutralize a flag).

Hi, new here. Been aiming recently to get the basic command badge. I'd have to agree that there is a difference in the commander scoring system since the latest patch.

However if you can only get points for team capture, defend or neutralize, what happens if you (or your team, I guess) is doing such a good job that you have all the captureable flags and the enemy never gets near enough for anyone to get flag defend points? I think it's happened to me a few times.

I was playing a lot of commander but had to go away on a job and missed over a week. The big change? Apparently everyone wants to play commander and lots of people outrank me after a week off.

Maybe I'm imagining it but I have been disconnected after getting commander, had my team switched after becoming commander and got mutinied against at the end of a game where I had the team ahead by 80 points. Someone else jumped in, barely managed to get the win and took my double points. Commander whoring...

Been playing about 3 hours and commanded (and won, I AM good at it) only one game. Sometimes there isn't even a vote. The worst part is I command as an engineer and when I don't get it, I have to run around like an a@@hole with the shotty.

How exactly do the scores work for commander. No matter how many people I kill with artilary, my score doesnt go up.

Is there a way to issue a notification to all squads at once?
