Guys, please help me

I had 2142 on EA link, but it started messing up, so i rebought a boxed version.

I now try and install it -

Error Code: -5011 : 0x8000ffff
Error Information:

And the error about needing to finish previous setup...

Ive deleted every trace of EA stuff from my PC.. please help me , Im desperate!

Hmm, have try looking in EA downloader for an option that might stop it from installing.

Umm... have you looked around on the EA downloader? It is possible that you have it still wanting to install from their. Just a stab in the dark though.

I would email EA customer department pronto.

The only thing that comes to mind is to get rid of EA link. Clean the registers. Then install the 2142 from DVD and proceed from there if this thing works.
