    Teamswitchhhhhh!!!!

There must be a better way. I ****ing hate autobalance. How many times have you played a round that has been hard fought only to be bent over and handed a loss in the dying seconds of the game.

FFS - Played a round tonight that lasted well over an hour. We'd creeped ahead, the score was 38 - 8 to us. I get killed, respawn and all of a sudden I'm speaking another language. For ****s sake - I was so close to snapping my BF2142 CD.

There must be a better way of handling it than this. I'd rather just be kicked off the game than suddenly be dumped onto the losing team. When it looks like a lost cause all the enemy players decide to leave the server and the game puts you on the other team.

Wouldn't it be better if when a certain level of tickets is reached you can't be switched. Or just put you in limbo till another player joins the enemy team. It would be better if once a round has started you stay on your assigned team unless you decide to switch no matter what. I hate being switched halfway through a game if I'm losing or not.

I'd rather have Autobalance on and get moved to the team I helped crush than to start on the losing team and have everyone move to the winning team so my team ends up losing more.

Happens to me all the time when I didn't squad up. Most of the time there is still time to wait and respawn for your actual team.

Don't they have Smartbalance that switches lone wolves first, not who dies first?

Untrue! The default autobalance only cares if a squad leader or commander. Everyone else is considered the same, whoever dies first.

True, only squadleaders and commanders are not switched, nearly everyone else is subject to a team switch.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it. I've been switched to the other team when I've been the squad leader. This has actually happened several times when I've been squad leader and when I've been in a squad.

Getting switched is angering. I get angry when I get switched from a team that is losing to the team that is going to win (although this seems to happen much more rarely than going from the winner to the loser). When you start with a team you want to end with that team, win or lose. I agree, there has to be a better friggin way!

Tell me about it... Once I forgot to join a squad. I single Handedly rushed into the enemy titan, destroyed all four reactor consoles and got a Problem Solver, then I died when rushing into the enemy core and got switched :p My new team won anyway, so I wasn't really that disappointed.

Not really, that leads to stacked teams and a totally unbalanced playing environment... No fun if you ask me. You just have to learn how to be sneaky and stay on the team of your choice.

Like what? Teams short on members get huge health buffs to compensate for fewer players? I can only imaging the bitching about that.

There's no other way that makes any sense at all. But as others have mentioned, if you care so much you could always do advanced search for crappy, team-stacked clan servers. There are plenty out there.

But if you're about to snap your CD over getting team switched of all things, you should seriously consider taking less Ritalin. :dead:
