No, Final Candidate Beta means that it is a beta testing of a candidate to the final release. If it is approved then that exact patch will be the release version.

This is almost accurate. If this beta goes well (which it seems to be so far) then the same code will comprise the final version of the 1.4 update, however you will still need to install the final release rather than just sticking with this beta as the version number will be different.

What do you prefer them actually testing the patch and releasing it well? Or producing a piece of crap and then unleashing it on the game.

Have you actually played the beta? If you had, you wouldn't be saying that. There are only a few populated servers, and I doubt many of those players even registered any feedback.

PS people might take you more seriously if your level of literacy was beyond that of an 8 year old

Yes played the beta and got pi**ed of with it, the servers kept losing connections, high pings and got seriously fed up with it so i went back to the normal patch! i really do hope that this patch works well cuz its gonna be the last one that Dice ever make for 2142 i bet ya.????

seems to have gone quiet on this patch again.

I have noticed frequent 'There is a problem with your connection' issues creeping into the game again. However I don't get kicked from the server anymore - just a second or two freeze. This might just be my connection. I asked ingame and got one response that their connection was fine. I only have 1.43 running so can't switch back to 1.25 to test.

Seems to be phantom vehicles on the map. You might get a minimap image, netbat diamond and even engine noise of a gunship but when you go to investigate there is nothing around.

yea the random plane sounds also seem to occur (spelling) in 1.25 at titan rounds you dont know a plane is comming and suddenly your hear it like its next to you and then you see him comming from behind.

Because frankly, there is no C. "leave as is". That's just embarracing. The game shouldn't even gotten shipped without all weapons working, that's something called basic functionality in a war game.

In case DICE hasn't realized, a lot of gamers are moving onto different games for whatever reasons. There is a lot of great games out now, or coming very soon, and not just on the PC, halo 3, and a ton of good PS3 games are out/coming out now. They should probably think about releasing this long overdue patch soon before there isn't much of a community left to play and actually enjoy this game with 1.4.

Good work though DICE, and we all appreciate it. Make BF3 unforgettable
