"You have a newer version than the server" ?????

When trying to get to play online it is saying:

"you have a newer version than the server"

Is there any way possible where i can get onto a server that will allow me to play or am i doomed away from Battlefield online for good?

what version r u playing in the first place and make sure its not the beta patch

Patch 1.25 is the latest full patch. Make sure you have that one (unfortunately you might have to reinstall 2142 to install the patch).
