As title says, post your experiences of when you were accused of hacking or cheating. I find it hilarious and thought I would sare my latest experience.
Yesterday, I'm on +Bros+ Titan server, map was suez canal. I had already decided I was going to go for the Silver explosives badge, and add to the kills requirement for the gold. As the round starts I immediately pod on to the back of our titan and place APMs at both vents entries. I drop in and head back to man the titan guns and wait for the shields to drop.
As soon as the "shields are about to fail" warning comes up I pod onto the roof and drop into a vent, place RDX on the wall and move back to "await victims".
Can't remeber the #1 victims name, but he ended up setting off both the APMs (killed, spawned, killed by other) and finally dropped in to the vent. Click, boom, got him again. Placed another RDX and waited. Boom. Did this to the same guy until I ran out of RDX. Dropped down (no-one to resupply) ran down corridor 2, picked up more ammo, and podded back to my hiding spot placing more APMs on the way. This time the APMs were set off by someone else, but the #1 victim drops 3 grenades in (which I move back when I hear "Frag Out!") and jumps in for another greeting with my RDX.
Here it comes across the screen, "Porthos is hacking!!"
I had time so I reply back "I'm not hacking and you have no proof" and he says "yes you are, you won't die" I LOL. I suck and he's accusing me of hacking. And this guy is a Brig!!
I tell him I'm not invincible and I'm so coaught up in typing (n00b moment) I was caught off guard when he popped in again. I detonate but he's too close and he draws a knife. I start moving backwards and try to draw my lambert but since I suck it never comes out and end up trying to cloak:laugh: and I lose my tags.
I chat back "see, told you I'm not invincible" just as I notice he gets sniped by a zeller in the titan. But finish the sentence with "but you still died too LOL" just adding to this guys mounting anger. He argues that I'm a ***** camping like that, and I tell him, yep, that I should find another way to defend my titan and rack up the RDX kills, but until then oh well. Needless to say the Silver Explosives Excellence badge bumped me up to Major Silver, all thanks to that #1 victim who was too stubborn to find another way into our titan.
Good thing kick votes were disabled or this guy would have started one after his second death I'm sure. I'll have to do a search of who has my tags later and edit the post with the name.
