So i first downloaded northern strike when EA link was around and played on it for a while. I've had to format my HD since then and I've installed bf but i cant figure out how to download ns now that ea link has changed to EA store, any ideas?

can we please have someone tell us something. I really don't play NS, so I don't care at this point. No one else does. I am going to do a full install tomorrow, and if bf does not play normal I am done. This game is trash. Nothing ever works, how hard is it to make a F N game just run normal?? why so many lag issuse? DICE can't make games under EA, they should just leave them and go work for bill gates or something. EA ruins everything when they are in charge.

I don't really understand your dilema.

Basically, if you already bought 2142 and/or Northern Strike once, you don't need to buy it again. You simply download EADM, login, then there should be a list of all the games/boosters you have bought. To the right of the game/booster, it should say something like Begin, or Download or something (can't remember now) clicking on that will start the download. You have unlimited downloads for 6 months from the time EADM was started so be sure to make a backup of it this time.

why so many lag issuse?

You might want to consider looking over your system and seeing if you need to upgrade something. BF2142 has had some problems in the past with Titan lag, but if your system is up to par and you have a low ping, then you shouldn't have any lag. Especially check your memory. I would ONLY go with 2 gb or more with this game. It is a memory hog.

another question, I've downloaded ns using eadm and i want to make a backup and eadm says it downloads all files to C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EADM\cache but this folder doesnt exist, where has it put the files?

Euro Forces = bf2euroforce
Special Forces = bf2ep1
Northern Strike = bf2142_bp1
