UT3 Demo is out!

So the Unreal Tournament 3 demo came out today. I'm currently downloading it via torrent from gameupdates.org. I don't know if any of you have played the previous versions, but I've been loyal since UT99 - the original. I've found that 2k3 and 2k4 just don't measure up to the gameplay of the first. Needless to say, I'm pretty excited to see how UT3 turns out. Hopefully they'll take some lessons from their first milestone.

Anyone here a fan? Or has anyone here downloaded it yet/planning to?

In some games, bunny hopping is lame (ie. BF). In others, it doesn't really matter because it wont keep you away from 6 rockets fired at the same time (ie. UT).

You don't often see bunny hopping in UT99 - more so, I'm guessing in 2k4 since it has the double jump feature.

Came across this in the licence agreement, epic pwns.

We're pretty hard on cheating in on-line games using the Demo Software because it sullies the overall gaming experience and is JUST PLAIN LAME. With that in mind, if you are caught cheating in an on-line game using the Demo Software we will immediately and permanently ban your account. At that point, this License is automatically terminated and you must immediately delete this Demo Software from your PC. Failure to comply with this last bit (deleting the software) may bring on the wrath of the lawyers. Trust us…you don't want that.

oh wow im jumping on this demo right now. I've been waiting for this for aloong time. I loved 2k3, intense fast gameplay with some badass weapons.

So I played a few rounds in demo. I guess it's called a "beta demo" for a reason, because my graphics were somewhat pixelated. I checked the epic forums, and some others have been encountering the same problems. I also couldn't seem to connect to any servers.

Until I can truly enjoy this demo, I guess I'll stick to my UT99

I'll try it out tonight and see if I like it. Gameupdates.org's torrent is owning by the way, I've had full speed the whole time.

Edit: Ok I'm not going to judge this game because
1) I suck at it
2) It's not my style of game

So i just played the Unreal Tournament 3 beta, anddddd i think i **** my pants.. Sexiest game ive played, the gameplay is even more intense than call of duty 4. The weapons are incredible, the vehicles kick ***, ahhhhh i feel like a lil school girl, im all giddy!

Everyone buy it when it comes out! I'm going to be buying a server for it, maybe even 2.
