ya know whats so funny? Is everyone is getting all upset over Vista and no XP option when it really doesn't matter about either or.. what you need to concern yourself with is Windows "7" when it drops on the world come 2010. They are already working on the next OS now which yea is called "Windows 7" or code named anyway. Vista may as well have been the next ME just a lot better coded but its still a "Center piece" to the OS stream.
